As the crisp autumn breeze starts to weave its way through the streets, our hearts turn toward those who need warmth and comfort. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce our upcoming Shoes and Blanket Drive—a heartfelt initiative to support houseless youth in our community.
What’s It All About?
When: Every day throughout the month of September.
Where: Monster Moms Headquarters (you know, that cozy spot where we gather for coffee mornings and late-night chats).
Time: From 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Why Shoes and Blankets?
Houseless youth face immense challenges, especially as the weather turns colder. Imagine being out there without proper shoes or a warm blanket to wrap around yourself. It’s a reality for too many young souls. But together, we can make a difference.
How Can You Help?
Donate New or Gently Used Shoes: Those sneakers your kiddo outgrew? Perfect! Bring them over. We’re collecting shoes of all sizes—from tiny toddler kicks to adult sneakers. Let’s keep those feet warm and dry.
Blankets, Blankets, Blankets: Dig out those spare blankets from your linen closet. Whether it’s a cozy fleece throw or a sturdy sleeping bag, every piece counts. Let’s wrap our houseless youth in warmth and kindness.
Spread the Word: Tell your friends, neighbors, and fellow Monster Moms. Share this blog post, post about it on social media, and let’s create a ripple effect of compassion.
